TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Kate Phipps Writes (the “website”) is operated by Kate Phipps (“I”, “me” and “my”). I operate from Trones, Station Road, Withyham, TN7 4BT.
These terms cover the website and related services worldwide. Delivery services are provided by Kate Phipps and shipped by specified courier service or Royal Mail.

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online with Kate Phipps Writes. The terms will not affect your statutory rights. By using the site you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.
Placing an Order
I am pleased to accept online order transactions via our secure server. All credit/debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to me, I will not be liable for any delay and/or non-delivery of your order. No binding contract will exist between us until I have accepted the order. All goods are sold subject to availability and maybe placed on back order. If for any reason I am unable to fulfill any part of the order, I will refund your card as soon as practical and in any case within 21 days.
Products, Prices & Content
Every effort is made to ensure images and colours shown on the site match as closely as possible to those of the actual products and due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.
Prices, product descriptions and specifications are checked to the best of my ability to make sure that they are accurate at the time of going online. Data entry errors or other technical issues may result in errors. In such cases it is not required to honour incorrect pricing.
Prices and availability of products are subject to change without notice. The advertised delivery charge will be added to your order.
All prices are show in pounds sterling. The final price quoted on the payment page is the price on the goods including delivery to the stated destination.
Cancellation
You may cancel a contract to purchase a product or products from me at any time within 7 working days after the day you placed the order.
In order to cancel a contract in this way, you must give us written notice of cancellation.
All goods must be returned to us within 7 days. Items received later than this will only be accepted for return at my discretion and if accepted will be refunded as a credit note only.
Cancellation of Bespoke Orders
In accordance to the Distance Selling and Online Trading Regulations Kate Phipps Writes products, which have been made to the customer specifications, are exempt from standard cancellation rights.
Cancellations are offered subject to the discretion of Kate Phipps. Please contact me at studio@katephippswrites.com if you wish to cancel an order.
Delivery
If you have selected ‘standard delivery’ option, it is my aim to deliver to you within 5 working days of receipt of your order. In the event that I am unable to achieve this and a delay to your delivery will occur, I will email you with an expected delivery date or the option to cancel your order.
Returns
I hope that you love your purchase but in the event that you are not happy with your items I will exchange or refund products (see exclusions under Cancellations of Bespoke Orders above) provided that they are returned in the original condition within 14 days of receipt to:

Please request a proof of posting. Please note that goods being sent back to Kate Phipps Writes are your responsibility until they reach us. Kate Phipps Writes cannot be held responsible for anything that gets lost or damaged in transit. Delivery charge and returned postage will only be refunded should an item be faulty.
Ownership of Goods
All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Kate Phipps Writes until I have received full and final payment of all sums owing in respect to those goods.
Intellectual Property
The Kate Phipps Writes trade mark and all other marks, trade names, service marks, brand names, business names, illustrations, logos, prints, poems which appear on the website, on the products or their packaging, whether registered or unregistered belong to Kate Phipps and are protected by applicable trade mark laws around the world. All rights are reserved.
The copying, modification, distribution, reproduction or incorporation into any other work of part or all the material available on this website in any form is prohibited without permission.

I am committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, I have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information I collect online.

Responsibility
Kate Phipps cannot be held responsible for any disruptions to my services that are beyond my reasonable control. I will do everything in our power to resolve any disruption to our service.
Law & Territory
These Terms & Conditions and your use of my website are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights.
This website and my terms and conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. Whilst I am happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside the United Kingdom, we give no warranty, express or implied that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.
